Miche Jean - President

Before founding Grotte Business Partners, Miche worked as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley where he focused his time and energy as an M&A strategist and business consultant for companies generating a minimum of $10 million in annual revenue. His experience spanned a broad range of industry, including real estate development, information technology, healthcare research, government contract, energy development, retail, etc. Coming from a legal background, he is able to transfer his analytical skills and attention to detail to help clients plan for what is often their once in a lifetime transaction. Miche’s mission is to help client accomplish their goals by using advanced M&A and capital acquisition tools and techniques leveraging his broad network and experience. His relentless focus on clients’ success is demonstrated through three core principles: extensive capability, disciplined approach, and proactive services.

A strong believer in giving back to our community, Miche currently sits on the board of many organizations and has assisted in raising funds for various charitable causes. Miche holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School and a BA in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University. He has completed coursework in Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

Ashutosh Singh - Partner & Chief Business Officer

Ashutosh Singh has over 20 years of experience in capital markets, trading & risk management, and technology. At MSCI, he was the head of the risk and quantitative analysis, advising clients on best practices of integrating quantitative methods in fundamental investment processes, risk management, and portfolio construction. In his role as a strategic relationship manager, he was responsible for growing the firm’s business relationship with senior leaders at the client. His research interests include the impact of climate change on firms, asset managers, and financiers. He has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, MS in Computer Science from the Courant School of Mathematical Sciences, New York University, MFE from the World Quant University, and BSE(Hons) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the Chicago Quantitative Alliance.
